CNM was contacted by the homeowner to investigate and solve the continuing slope erosion leading to the ravine. It was discovered that the property was taking on run-off water from a nearby bridge. This continued erosion pulled on the surface soil eventually breaking an inground sprinkler. A steep slope ordinance complicated the permitting process, but CNM’s experience with state and federal municipal regulations resulted in an efficient permitting process and the remediation was completed on schedule.
The ravine is now stable, the slope is graded, shaped, and revegetated. An erosion control blanket adds additional protection while the native planting takes root!
