CNM was contacted when the upper stone wall constructed by an unaffiliated landscaper failed, impacting the bluff’s stability. Further evaluation revealed additional failure issues at the bluff-toe. The bluff is stabilized by installation of a revetment, and a quarry stone breakwater offers additional protection to the shoreline and beach. The bluff is further improved with new timber walls, stairs and pavers, along with the installation of custom railings. Native plantings add to the beauty while stabilizing the soil to reduce further erosion. The new tram takes you to the lower IPE deck where you can join your family and friends for a cook-out using the custom stainless-steel kitchenette – all while enjoying the views!
Finally, this beach is regularly maintained by the Beach Comber sand grooming service to ensure it is safe and ready for enjoyment at any time!
